My problem is that I cannot find a serial number for the bow anywhere on the bow. I need the serial number for two primary reasons: (1) for insurance purposes, and (2) for reporting to law enforcement should the bow be stolen. I would appreciate any help from you guys in locating that serial number. Register Your Bow Please complete the following form to register your bow for warranty coverage. I friend has a firestorm lite one cam his wife bought off someone at work, but he doesn't want it and I'm thinking about buying it. Doesn't appear to have ever been shot, but it isn't the new hybrid cam but a one cam design. Any idea what year it is?

Do you know if you can tell the Year of Manufacture for PSE's serial numbers? Thanks.

My guess it's between 2 and 5 years old. PSE should be able to tell you the exact year if you call them on the 800#. My son has a PSE Stingray 1-cam, which I think had minor changes and was renamed a Firestorm.
It's a short, but really nice hunting bow. He's hunted with it for several years now. Depending on how much you pay, and what you want it for, it could be a good deal. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it as-is.

If there's no sticker label on the underside of the bottom limb then there's no way to know the SN.
Call PSE and give them the specifics. Like Bill stated, probably 2-5 yrs old.

I used to work in a shop and saw a lot of these bows and others with the same limbs. The reason it doesn't have a limb sticker may be because the limbs were replaced. It's not a good limb design, IMO.
Best bet is a call to PSE.
